  Duck Hun Hwa

Sanbok

A turquoise blue declined in all its differing shades. Houses bleached by the sea air. A surprising city which resembles a small Greek port, in spite of Greece and South Korea¨s opposite latitudes: Pusan, hometown of Hwa Duck Hun, is also Korea¨s second metropolis. Its architecture gives rise to a wonderful colorist`s work. Using an 8x10 inch large format camera, Hwa Duck Hun offers us a technically perfect series where the architecture of his city is magnified by his sense of color and framing.
